Executive Producer: Johnathan Nguyen
A 5th Year Thurgood Marshall Student majoring in Visual Arts Media Film/TV and two minors in Film Studies and Theatre. During his time at UCSD, he has been Station Manager of Thurgood Marshall Television Station, Visual Production Manager of UCSD Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, interned at Diamond-Production Group, became a member of the San Diego Asian Film Festival Video Production Team, interned at Career TV at UCSD Human Resources, and most recently became an Executive Producer at Triton Television.
Johnathan came to UCSD as a pre-med biology majoring switching to computer science engineering, and then ultimately to Visual Arts. His experiences growing up in his family owned video rental store and his years involved in theatre at his high school pushed him to pursue a career in motion picture, film, and entertainment where he hopes to become a producer someday. His background and skill sets include technical theatre production and design, playwriting, screenwriting, non-linear editing, assistant directing, stage management, directing, production assistance, camera operations, and a bit of acting.
